Request data deletion.

Use this page to request deletion of data associated with Ink Barrier Quest, Jungle Merge, Short Story, or another JASONDIBANSON game. You do not need to reinstall a game or create a new account to submit a request.

  1. Send your request

    Email [email protected] with the subject “Game Data Deletion Request.”

  2. Identify the game data

    Include the game name, Android as the platform, your country or state, and an app instance or player ID if the game displays one. Do not send a password, government ID, payment card, or other sensitive document.

  3. Complete proportionate verification

    We may reply for information reasonably needed to confirm that the request relates to you. Information collected for verification is used only to process the request.

  4. Receive confirmation

    We will confirm receipt and complete verified requests within the period required by applicable law, generally within 30 days where feasible and within 45 days for covered California requests. We will tell you if a lawful extension is needed.

What is deleted? We delete or de-identify personal information and developer-operated account data that we can reasonably link to the verified request, and instruct relevant processors to do the same where required. Local progress can usually be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the game.

Information we may retain

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or to document that the request was completed. We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you.

No account in your game?

Some JASONDIBANSON games may not offer a developer-operated account. You may still request deletion of data that can reasonably be linked to your app instance, advertising identifier, support email, or other identifier. If we cannot locate data connected to the information you provide, we will tell you.
